    The 4-H Saddle Warmers club met recently to look at projects to sign-up for this year. Besides showmanship, there is a new project to study called Ranch Horse. This is where we would work on things like breeds of cattle, roping, cattle’s flight zone, knots, ground tying, brand requirements and many more levels.   • Relay For Life Kick-Off Party slated for March 10

    The Relay For Life of Ritzville committee is hosting a Kick-Off Party on Monday, March 10, from 6-7 p.m. at the Best Western Plus Bronco Inn to celebrate and prepare for the upcoming event. The Ritzville Relay For Life is slated for July 12 and this year’s theme is Finish the Fight. The team sign-up fee has been eliminated this year, and the cost for registration is $10 per person, unless the team is an event sponsor, than registration is free.     Ritzville Drug’s new owner is following in the footsteps of their father. This is a case of like father, like daughter. Pharmacist Corinna Gray took ownership of Ritzville Drug Company on Jan. 1, purchasing the business from Sam and Debbie Duncan.
