Man arrested for fuel theft

OTHELLO - Anthony Earl Lee, 33, of Othello, was arrested May 28, for second-degree theft and unlawful use of red-dyed diesel fuel following an investigation that began May 20.

Records show Lee is accused of stealing farm diesel fuel from the 10 block of South Reynolds Road, outside Othello. A search warrant at a location in the 200 block of East Juniper Street, Othello, turned up full totes of arm diesel.

In an unrelated arrest, Emilio Martinez-Silva, 24, of Othello, was arrested for driving while under the influence and eluding on May 26, following a short pursuit in the area of South Highway 17 and West Bench Road, records show. The arrest followed a pursuit that started in Othello, where police observed the vehicle spinning out-of-control.
