Crusaders sweep Broncos in season finale

RITZVILLE — Northwest Christian Northwest Christian (Colbert) swept Lind-Ritzville/Sprague in a Northeast 2B baseball doubleheader on Saturday, April 27.

The Crusaders dominated the opener, winning 26-2, and won the closing game 6-1.

Individual statistics for the doubleheader were not reported.

Several of the Broncos players are dual-spring sport athletes, also scheduled to compete simultaneously in the Undeberg Invitational track meet at Snider Field.

The Broncos (0-16, 0-12 in league) travel to Kettle Falls this week to take on the Bulldogs (8-8, 6-6 overall).

Gametime is at noon Thursday, May 2.

The matchup is the final baseball game of the year before district play opens.
