Volunteers needed for Undeberg

Ritzville — Lind-Ritzville High School officials are looking for assistance with the Undeberg Invitational track meet Saturday, April 27.

The daylong event is the largest track meet hosted each year in Ritzville, and it takes dozens of volunteers.

“We could use a couple more adult workers,” Athletic Director Dustan Arlt said in an email. “… one more for girls shot put, and possibly if I could an extra adult for Pole Vault.

The first event begins at 10:30 a.m.

Tennis match rained out

REARDAN — Last Thursday’s tennis match at Reardan High School was rained out and won’t be rescheduled.

Teams from Lind-Ritzville, Davenport and Reardan were thinking about rescheduling for May 1, but the Screaming Eagles have a conflict.

The Broncos tennis team was scheduled to host St. George’s on Tuesday, April 23, and Kettle Falls on Thursday, April 25. Those games were set for 3 p.m. starts

Local players are scheduled to compete in the Inland Empire Tournament in Spokane on Friday and Saturday.
