Races set for Odessa

ODESSA—Motocross fans who can’t wait for the Desert 100 race the first weekend of April have local two races to look forward to this weekend. The Stumpjumpers Motorcycle Club, which puts on the Desert 100 each year, is hosting the Frostbite Grand Prix and White Knuckle Grand Prix here Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24.

The races are a mile south of town at approximately 3985 State Highway 21. Saturday is the Frostbite and Sunday is the White Knuckle.

Each day’s racing starts at 9:30 a.m. with a 2.5 hour long course, followed by a 90-minute short course, organizer Randy Nilles said. Satur...
