Lind-Ritzville spring sports practices begin

RITZVILLE — Spring sports officially began Monday, Feb. 26, with practices starting for tennis, boys baseball and girls fastpitch softball.

Track practice was slated to start Tuesday, Feb. 27, and golf on Monday, March 4.

Athletic Director Dustan Arlt said the district is still working out the middle school baseball and softball practice schedule.

Here is tentative plan for high school practices starting this week:

Baseball — Mondays through Saturday to start the season. Players need eight practices to participate in the March 7 jamboree.

Softball — Monday through Friday, weather permitting.
