Dam breaching hearing set

WASHINGTON D.C. — A congressional hearing on proposed dam breaching is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30.

The hearing will take place in the 2123 Rayburn House Office Building. It will focus on the potential impacts of removing the Snake River Dams.

The Biden administration and others are expected to testify, including. representatives of the Council on Environmental Quality, U.S. Department of Energy, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Bonneville Power Administration.

A representative from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has also been invited to testify.

The hearing will be streamed live at http://energycommerce.house.gov/.
