Othello offering cop classes

OTHELLO – The city will be hosting “So You Want to be a Cop” classes in January.

The classes are designed to help recruit law enforcement officers, city officials said.

The first class will be from 5-7 p.m. Jan. 9. The program will focus on the application process and preparing physically for the job.

From 5-7 p.m. Jan. 10, police will lead a discussion on oral preparation.

Officials hope the classes will encourage more residents to apply for open law enforcement jobs in the city....
