Dean Whitman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 30, 2023. He was born in Pine City, Wash. on Mar. 15, 1927, to Harold and Ethel Whitman. He and his brother Elmer and sister Francis later moved to the farm in Worley, Idaho. Dean met the love of his life Margaret (Peggy) Kaney in California while he was in the Coast Guard. They were married in 1947 and together raised their four children on the farm in Worley.
