Wrestling begins

RITZVILLE — After three weeks of practices, the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague grapplers are ready to square off against other schools.

The winter season schedule opens with the boys heading to Medical Lake for the Scramble on Saturday, Dec. 2.

The event will pit the Broncos against several large and small schools, including Medical Lake and Cheney. Wrestling begins at 10 a.m.

The girls wrestling team will open its season with the league meet at East Valley (Spokane Valley) next Thursday, Dec. 7. Wrestling starts at 5 p.m.

The boys then head to Liberty (Spangle) on Saturday, Dec. 9 for the Brice Williams Invitational.
