Concert to benefit school band program

RITZVILLE – A country music artist with Top 40 hits will perform Nov. 29 to help raise money for the Lind-Ritzville School District band program.

Jason Michael Carroll with special guest Cole O'Brien will perform a fundraising concert at The Ritz Theater, 107 E. Main Ave.

The Youngsville, N.C., singer was discovered in a 2004 talent contest and signed to Arista Nashville label in 206.

He has had several Top 40 songs, including "Alyssa Lies," "Livin' Our Love Song" and "I Can Sleep When I'm Dead."

Carroll has opened for Brooks and Dunn, Trace Adkins and Alan Jackson and was featured in 2008 in Carried Underwood and Martina McBride's tour.

Doors open at 6 p.m .; the concert starts at 6:30 p.m. The show is open to all ages.

There is an admission charge.

Carroll is also scheduled to perform Dec. 5 at The Big Dipper in Spokane.

That 6:30 p.m. show will feature special guests Robbie Walden, Joey Anderson and Joel Haugen.
