The City of Ritzville (Owner) is
requesting Bids for the construction
of the Well 8R Pump Station
Project. Bids for construction of
the Project will be received by
the Owner via online submission
only, until 3:00 (PM), Thursday,
November 2, 2023 local time.

The Project includes construction
of the Well 8R Pump Station.
Major elements of work generally
include:
• 22’x28’ wood frame building
with metal roof and siding with a
12’x11’ removable section
• 700 HP open line shaft water
lubricated vertical turbine well
pump with 2,000 gpm capacity
• Site work, site piping and pump
station piping
• Electrical, soft starter and related
controls
• Pumping system startup and
testing
• Other related items

American Iron and Steel
Section 746 of Title VII of the
Consolidated Appropriations Act
of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture,
Rural Development, Food and
Drug Administration, and Related
Agencies Appropriations
Act, 2017) and subsequent
statutes mandating domestic
preference applies an American
Iron and Steel requirement to
this project. All iron and steel
products used in this project
must be produced in the United
States. The term “iron and steel
products” means the following
products made primarily of iron
or steel: lined or unlined pipes
and fittings, manhole covers
and other municipal castings,
hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe
clamps and restraints, valves,
structural steel, reinforced precast
concrete, and Construction
Materials.
