Isaiah Perez of Othello, an Eastern Washington University defensive lineman, tackles Idaho running back Nick Romano during a 44-36 losing effort Saturday, Sept. 30, in Cheney.
CHENEY – An Othello man is among the starting lineup for the Eastern Washington Eagles football team.
Isaiah Perez, 21, of Othello is a 6-foot-2, 2020 Othello High School graduate.
Perez is starting as a defensive tackle for the Eagles (2-3) football team.
On Saturday, Perz logged two solo tackles against the visiting Idaho Vandals. The Eagles lost to their Big Sky Conference rival, 44-36.
Prior to attending Easter, Perez was a redshirt freshman football player at Brigham Young University in Utah.
