Golf fundraiser set

OTHELLO – Area law enforcement officers and firefighters and their supporters will face off Oct. 7 in the annual Red and Blue Benefit Tourney.

The tournament will take place at the Othello Golf Club, 2269 W. Mockingbird Lane.

Proceeds from the four-person scramble will be split between Adams County Fire District No. 5 and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

The tournament begins at noon with a shotgun start.

There is an entry fee, which includes a free range ball, golf, cart, prizes and dinner.
