Grange seeks volunteers for booth

Concessions, Bingo help needed at fair

RALSTON – Ralston Grange is looking for volunteers to help with concessions and Bingo at its booth during the annual Wheat Land Communities Fair and Ritzville Rodeo.

“The grange is asking for volunteer help from the community,” Grange spokesman Randy Roth said.

“There is a shortage of workers this year, and help from the community would be appreciated, You do not need to be a Grange member to volunteer.”

On Wednesday only, Aug. 30, the organization will host a baked potato bar “with all the fixings” from 5-8:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds, Roth said. Then from Friday through Sunday, Sept. 1-3, the organization will be selling kraut Ranza, German sausage, soft pretzels, Wilma’s popcorn balls, elephant ears and cotton candy, along with beverages.

In addition to food sales, Roth said the grange will offer Bingo again from 4-7 p.m. Friday and 1-7 p.m. Saturday at the fairgrounds, 811 E. Main Ave.

Those interested in volunteering can text Roth at 509-660-0486 or email him at [email protected].
