Swim team takes second overall

Summer swim league high-point winners sport medals following Saturday's championship meet in Colfax.

COLFAX – The St. John-Endicott-LaCrosse-Washtucna combined swim team took second-place overall Saturday, Aug. 5, in their league championships.

The team finished second with 281 team points, behind the Pullman Barracudas with 425 overall points.

The St. John-Endicott-LaCrosse-Washtunca girls won their division with 198 points, topping Pullman, Colfax, Garfield-Palouse-Oakesdale-Plummer and Pomeroy. Pullman girls were second with 173 and Colfax girls third with 131.

In boys swimming, Pullman dominated with 252 team points, followed by Colfax with 124 and Popery 120.
