Three killed in Othello-area crash

OTHELLO – Three people were killed in a head-on crash Saturday night about 10 miles west of the city.

Eloy Romero Serrano, 78, of Royal City; Jesus Perez Escamilla, 21, of Tlalixtaquilla de Maldonado, Mexico; and Antoina F. Rodriguez Barragan, 63, of Royal City, were pronounced dead at the scene near Milepost 28 of State Highway 26, the Washington State Patrol reported. Homero Vicente Victoriano, 30 of Royal City, was injured and transported to a Richland hospital.

The crash occurred about 11:21 p.m. near the intersection of Road D. Southeast, the patrol reported.
