Disclaimer: The following questions are to be answered by candidates in 100 words or less. We do not edit the answers, other than to enforce the word limit. If you exceed the 100-word limit, we will only print the first 100 words.

Question 1: What are your goals/focus for the council? CHANGE! Lind is in dire need of positive change. My focus is to get Lind back on track, to be a beautiful and inviting place to live where we all thrive together. I Hope to gain as much knowledge as I possibly can over the next 4 years. Once I am confident that I am educated enough and would be a service to my community. Then, maybe one day I will think about running for Mayor.

Question 2: If elected, how would you change/improve the city? Get our Town Hall Organized, Start working on outdated ordinances, apply for grants, hold our leadership accountable. I aim to get a fee schedule done each year and readily available in the office for current and potential residents of Lind. Push our Mayor to promote our town, and if she doesn’t, I will use my position to promote Lind myself. One step at a time we can get this town into a place where we are not just surviving but thriving!

Question 3: Lind has long-standing water issues. How would you try to resolve them while protecting affordable and reliable access to water? For starters, I would implement a regular cleaning and maintenance plan for our town. (Water, sewer, as well as town clean up) I will be imposing budget cuts to areas our town is throwing out money and put it to good use for things we do need. Like preventative maintenance so that our town doesn’t get to this.
