Garbage fire

The Adams County Waste Management Transfer Station staff in Othello quickly broke up a construction debris fire June 21, preventing the blaze from spreading to the transfer station until assistance could respond. Adams County Fire District No. 5 arrived and extinguished the blaze. The Adams County Sheriff's Office also responded.
