Bronco boys win Cinco de Mayo

POMEROY — The Bronco boys ran away with a Cinco de Mayo Twilight Track Meet win at Pomeroy High School.

Meanwhile, the Bronco girls finished fourth.

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprauge boys team amassed 151 points, edging Pomeroy with 146.5. Clarkston finished third with 86.5 points.

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse was sixth overall with 45.66 team points.

Here are the Top 3 finishers in each boys event:

100 — 1. Tyler Slaybaugh, Pomeroy, 11.63; 2. Hayden Melcher, Lind-Ritzville, 11.69; 3. Sidney Bales, Pomery, 11.77.

200 — 1. Hayde Melcher, Lind-Rtizville, 23.77; 2. Shawn Steinberger, Lind-Ritzville, 25.22; 3. Blaise Kern, Asotin, 26.12.

400 — 1. Luke Siler, Clarkston, 54.11; 2. Shawn Steinberger, Lind-Ritzville, 55.69; 3. Damon Schilling, Lind-Ritzville, 55.98.

In the girls division, it was Asotin scoring a team victory.

The Panthers scored 131.5 team points for first, followed by Clarkston in second with 109.5.

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse was third with 107.5 and Lind-Ritzville/Sprague fourth with 88.
