RITZVILLE – The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague girls fastpitch softball team swept a doubleheader against the Jenkins (Chewelah) Cougars on Tuesday, April 18.
The Bronco girls (6-6 in league), won the opener, 4-2, and the nightcap, 11-5, over the Cougars (7-5 in league).
The win moves the girls one step closer to the post season, with the Broncos currently tied for fourth place in the Northeast 2B with Liberty (Spangle).
The local girls were scheduled to host Reardan on Tuesday, April 25. The newspaper went to press before game time for the doubleheader.
