Lind-Ritzville goes 3-2 in tennis

KETTLE FALLS — The Broncos tennis team went 3-2 against the Kettle Falls Bulldogs during a March 29 Northeast 2B matchup.

In singles action, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague’s Carlie Loop and Liberty McClanathan both won their matches.

Bronco Wesley Rogers and Destiny Phelps each lost.

Meanwhile, the local doubles team of Cameron Olson and Jose Zavala won their match.

Loop topped Bulldog Ahsley Hendrickeson, 6-0, 6-0. And McClanathan defeated Kettle Falls’ Kate Goodman, 6-3, 6-3.

But the Bulldogs Elsie Hume defeated Rogers, 6-0, 6-0. And Kiki Golphenee defeated Phelps, 6-2, 6-4.

In doubles, Olson and Zavala notched a 6-4, 6-6, 10-7 win over Hope Shurum and Robin Wright from Kettle Falls.
