SPOKANE VALLEY – The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague boys basketball team eliminated Okanogan from the boys basketball postseason on Saturday, Feb. 18, dunking the Bulldogs, 50-48.
The Broncos trailed early, giving up a 14-7 advantage to the Bulldogs at the end of the first quarter and trailing 26-15 at halftime.
"We came out playing impressive defense holding them to 7 points in the first quarter and only 15 points for them at the half," Okanogan Coach Jordan Lesamiz said. "Unfortunately, the third quarter that has plagued us all year, was our downfall, again."
