Washtucna band awards

Four Washtucna students competed Feb. 4 in the Southeast Washington Regional Solo and Ensemble Contest in Pullman. From left, Madilynn Meade received a superior rating in clarinet. Cooper Jessop received an excellent rating in tenor sax. Madison Bartlett received a superior rating in trumpet. And Hannah Hille received a superior rating in clarinet. Hille won her category and qualified for the April 29 State Solo Competition at Central Washington University in Ellensburg.
