Ritzville woman named to Harding Dean’s List

SEARCY, Ark. — A Ritzville woman has made the Dean’s List at Harding University.

Jessica Heater, a senior, studying medical humanities, is among more than 1,200 Harding University students included on the Dean’s List for grades achieved during the fall 2022 semester.

The list is published each semester by University Provost Marty Spears, honoring those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.

Area students named to honor rolls

SPOKANE — A student from Washtucna and two from Othello were named to the honor roll at Spokane Falls Community College for fall quarter 2022, which ended in December.

Those students include Sydney Kinch of Washtucna, and Gwen Jenson and Matt Lenoue, both of Othello.

Two Ritzville students were also selected for Spokane Community College’s honor roll for the fall 2022 quarter — Vanessa Grimm and Claire Kessler of Ritzville.

To be included on the honor roll, students must achieve a minimum grade-point average of 3.0.

Ritzville graduate named to Dean’s List

GALESBURG, Ill. – Ritzville High School graduate Lacey Miller of Ritzville has been named to the Dean’s List of distinguished students for the 2022 fall term at Knox College.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must have earned at least 2.5 credits in the term and maintain a grade-point average of 3.6 or better (on a 4.0 scale). The school’s website also notes that Miller was named to the Dean’s List for the 2020 spring term and 2021 fall term.

In addition, Miller began her collegiate softball career when she enrolled at Knox College in the fall of 2019.
