Cooper joins Schoesler staff

OLYMPIA - Sen. Mark Schoesler has a new legislative assistant.

Suzette Cooper joined the 9th Legislative District lawmakers staff this year, replacing Krista Winters.

Winters had worked for the Ritzville Republican for 22 years.

"Krista retired as my LA (legislative assistant) last week," Schoesler said. "She was with me for four of my years in the House and all of my 18 yeasr in the Senate."

Schoesler said that while he's "sad to see Krista retire," he's "pleased to announce" Cooper had taken on legislative assistant position.
