Ritzville City Council approves 2023 budget

RITZVILLE — The City Council adopted the 2023 budget, which included next year’s Capital Improvement Plan, last week.
At the request of the finance committee, certain golf course expenditures were transferred from the 2022 to the 2023 budget. These included costs for a furnace ($19,500), insulation ($20,000), and windows ($35,000). Updated golf course expenditures totaled $74,500.
The city plans to use Transportation Improvement Board funds for the Sixth Avenue Sidewalk Project (Division Street to Chelan Street) totaling $485,655. The city will provide $27,060 in matching funds.
