District Election

Resolution Notice

A mail-in only election for a

board seat on the Adams Conservation

District will be held on

March 9, 2023 at the Adams

Conservation District Office

located at 118 E Main Avenue,

Ritzville, WA 99169. Registered

voters who reside within the

Conservation District boundary

are eligible to vote (view boundary

map at adamscd.org). The

last day and time that an eligible

voter can request a ballot from

the District is January 30, 2023

at 5 p.m. Ballots can be requested

from Adams Conservation

District, 118 E Main Avenue,

Ritzville, WA 99169 by phone at 509-659-1553. The voter must

account for the time it will take

for the ballot to be returned to the

district by mail. Ballots returned

by mail must be post-marked no

later than Election Day, March

9, 2023. Ballots returned by

other means must be returned

to Adams Conservation District,

118 E Main Avenue, Ritzville,

WA 99169 no later than 5 p.m.

on Election Day, March 9, 2023.

Candidates must be registered

voters residing in the Conservation

District. Candidates are

required to be landowners or

operators of a farm, based on

the current composition of the

District board of supervisors. The

filing deadline for candidates to

file their candidate required information

is January 19, 2023 at 5

p.m. Interested candidates must

file their candidate required information

at the Adams Conservation

District, 118 E Main Avenue,

Ritzville, WA 99169 no later than

5pm. Candidate required information

will be accepted at that

location by mail (postmarked no

later than January 19, 2023) or

by email to chadamscd@gmail.

com. Election procedures are

available from the District office,
