A time to think, reconsider

What a free and open society we have:

There are a host of laws for gun control and anti-trusts (monopolies) that are somewhat bypassed, too many authorities and politicians, much of the public being overactive and hysterical, business and groups like the NCAA letting politics interfere, internationals trying to dominate the world media, internet, mobile phones, radio, TV and the movies.

Peaceful protests are violent and destructive. Medical workers are too demanding and over-cautious. Democrats still want more of their “green deal.” A disinformation director was established at the White House to filter out moderate and conservative information. Party leaders are hard-line, not allowing any independence.

There are forever-increasing building standards, safety codes and emissions rules that are beyond practical.

The federal government and our state don’t want us to use natural gas. They are “outsourcing” and importing so much while discouraging domestic industries, oil and gas production, and shuttering pipelines.

Society is overwhelmed by materialism, electronic devices and entertainment as cyberspace snoops and hackers scam us.

Our governor and U.S. Sen. Patty Murray are advocating breeching dams and ignoring the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. And our Vice-President Kamala Harris is laughing and giggling as she walks away from important national questions, leaving problems at the border with permissive illegal immigration, and not enough man power or devices to monitor crossings and cargo.

Time to think about what’s happening.
