on Liquor Charge
Federal officers made some arrests here during the fair on charges of selling liquor to Indians. Adam Heimbigner, a prominent rancher near Packard, was arrested Friday night by Indian Agent Sherley of Spokane. He was lodged in jail but was released Saturday on cash bonds of $2,000. This is a federal offense and will be brought before the federal grand jury at Spokane. The charge is that Heimbigner sold liquor to an Indian and took a marked bill which was found on his person when he was arrested.
