Eric Logan wins all-around cowboy honors

OTHELLO – Eric Logan received the all-around cowboy honors from the Othello Rodeo on Oct. 16-17.

Logan took home a total of $1,039 in prize money after taking second in steer wrestling and sixth in team roping.

Overall, $35,269 were paid out to cowboys and cowgirls competing in traditional rodeo events; an additional $6,674 was paid out to women in breakaway roping.

Logan wrestled his steer to the ground in 7.4 seconds, good enough for $839 in prize money.

In team roping, he partnered with Tex Sutfin to rope their calf in 9.0 seconds, and earn each of them $200.
