RITZVILLE – The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna/Harrington Broncos boys football team tuned up for the regular season Saturday, Aug. 27, hosting a jamboree.
Visiting teams included the Medical Lake Cardinals, Jenkins (Chewelah) Cougars, Warden Cougars, Colfax Bulldogs and the Dayton-Waitsburg Wolfpack.
Each team's offense had multiple opportunities to run offensive plays, beginning at the 35-yardline against rotating defenses.
The gridiron tune-up traditionally kicks off the season.
The Broncos home-opening game is at 7 p.m. this Friday, Sept. 2, against the visiting Colfax Bulldogs.
