Ronald Lee Gering, 69, went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2022, after a sudden and unexpected heart attack. He was surrounded by his wife of 40 years, Karen; and his daughters, Mandy, Tiffany and Megan at the time of his passing.

Ron was born in Ritzville on April 8, 1953, to Martin and Betty Gering. He graduated from Ritzville High School in 1971. He then went on to college and returned to work on the farm.

Later, Ron and Karen managed a retirement community for 14 years before retiring in 2020 when they found a beautiful home in Colville.
