SPOKANE — A Lind-Ritzville alumnus was awarded the David L & Frances G. Ray Scholarship.

Julia Klein, a graduate of Lind-Ritzville High School, will receive a $1,000 scholarship toward tuition for her junior year this fall at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Okla.

A pre-physical therapy major, Klein is studying to be a chiropractor.

As a high school student, Klein participated in Running Start Program through Eastern Washington University and earned a year of undergraduate credits. She expects to graduate from Southern Nazarene in spring 2024 before enrolling in graduate school t...
