Raise fund for Basin:

Adams County first in state

to pledge quota for

Columbia Basin Project

Adams County has "gone over the top" in raising its quota of the fund to be used in pushing the campaign for federal recognition of the Columbia Basin Irrigation project.

Chairman Gritman notified John W. Langdon of Walla Walla, the chairman for the Fourth District, and Mr. Langdon wired back the following: "Hurrah for Adams county. Congratulations. Am wiring good news to ane at Spokane; This will inspire every county in the state and set an...
