Dorothy Armstrong, 84, passed away on April 28, 2022. She was born June 30, 1937 to Harry and Sally Dahl in Red Wing, Minn., and as the youngest joined 3 brothers (Don, Gordy, and Larry) and one sister (Beverly). Dorothy moved to Pasco, Wash. with her mother in 1952 and gained two step-bothers (Arnie and Larry).
Dorothy graduated from Pasco High School in 1955, Columbia Basin College, and Eastern Washington University. Her first teaching job was with the Ritzville School District in 1960. Dorothy met Rolland Armstrong, a fellow teacher in Ritzville in 1961, and they “pooled paychecks�...
