Ford dealer wins Super Bowl trip

Larry and Mrs. Benzel are leaving today on an all-expenses-paid vacation attending the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

Larry, the owner-manager of Benzel Ford Sales here, won the vacation award in a truck sales contest in the Seattle district of the Ford Motor Co., sales organization. He competed with seven other dealers with similar sales potential to his own.

He explained each of the dealers was assigned a sales objective. The contest winner was the dealer with the highest per cent above the objective. Benzel Ford Sales achieved 290 per cent above the November-December assignment.

"Things just sort of fell together that way," said Larry in explanation of the high sales achievement. Modestly, he admitted an agency which through the years has sought to meet its customers real needs helped bring back old customers for the new business that won the vacation trip.
