PULLMAN – Ritzville native and PGA professional Ryan Benzel and amateur Ben Minyard of Sahalee Country Club, Sammamish, placed seventh in the Pacific Golf and Turf PNW PRO-AM Championship, Oct. 6-7 at Palouse Ridge Golf Course.

As a team, Benzel and Minyard shot 17 under par in the tournament.

Benzel shot rounds of 64 and 67, 13 under par on the par-72 course.

PGA Professional Corey Prugh of Community Colleges of Spokane and amateur Reid Hatley of Hayden Lake Country Club won the championship.

As a team, they fired rounds of 61 and 61, 22 under par for the tournament.
