Writer responds to columnist

At first, I was shocked that anyone would compare people hooked on drugs to people who are prostitutes.

Anyone with half a brain would not call this a victimless crime. Has he not heard about the sex trafficking? Young people who are kidnapped and sold into the sex trade. Young women, children; both boys and girls.

Are you really so dumb that you think these children want to be sold and used night after night by multiple men in one night; being drugged, beaten into submission while their “pimp" gets all the money? The only people who make out in this endeavor are the owners of the prostitutes.

Pimps hoodwink young ladies into believing that they love them. They show them tenderness and affection, give them gifts and treat them like they are special. Usually, these young ladies, some as young as 12, are from broken homes, and/or abused and desperate to find love. Once they feel safe with this person, then they put them to “work.” Telling them, “If you love me, you will do this for me.”

So, all this bull about a victimless crime is a fairy tale. As for the pimps, they will not go away, they will be emboldened to take and use even more girls.

In my humble opinion, anyone who agrees with this kind of thinking, is either stupid or has an evil and sick mind.
