Broncos host track and field meet

Hayden Melcher took first in long jump at 17-09.50, ahead of second-place by seven and a quarter inches.

RITZVILLE - The Broncos hosted four visiting teams for a NE2B track and field meet on a cold and rainy Saturday, April 24.

The Lind-Ritzville-Sprague team had several first-place finishers.

Davenport took first place for both the boys' and girls' teams.

In boys' varsity, Davenport scored 154, followed by Chewelah (129), St. George's (105), NW Christian (Colbert) (67) and Lind-Ritzville-Sprague (61).

For girls' varsity, Davenport scored 120, followed by St. George's (118), Chewelah (98), Lind-Ritzville-Sprague (75) and NW Christian (51).
