Lind's Jennifer Anderson goes above and beyond

LIND – Elementary school teacher Jennifer Anderson was awarded the Above and Beyond award at the Lind-Ritzville School District Board meeting Feb. 24.

Lind Elementary Dean of Students Sarah Dinkins thanked the third-grade teacher for her dedication and support to her students and families.

“During this past year, Jennifer has been innovative in her ability to engage students, including remote learners,” Dinkins said. “Jennifer sets high standards and is a good role model for her students and colleagues.”

Dinkins said Anderson had demonstrated outstanding leadership through her involvement in collaboration and support of school initiatives.

“We would like to thank Jennifer for her hard work and dedication to our school community,” Anderson said.

“Thank you very much. Thank you for giving me so much work to be thankful for,” Anderson replied with a laugh before turning serious and expressing her thanks again.

“I really appreciate this,” Anderson said. "Thank you so much, Sarah."
