Boness earns patrol honors

BELLEVUE -A Ritzville fifth-grader has been inducted into the School Safety Patrol Hall of Fame.

Cameron Bones was selected as one of the Top 10 patrollers in the state out of 45 nominations. He was nominated by adviser Terrie Schwartz and slected for the honor because of his initiative improving the school safety program.

According to award information, Boness trained and mentored new patrollers in safety patrol procedures and volunteered double shifts to cover all posts.
