Dangerous intersection by the schools

The corner of Eighth and Chelan is an accident waiting to happen. Today it did. It could have been much worse, fortunately there were no pedestrians at the time.

Several times every day we see cars speeding through this intersection, failing to yield, failing to stop.

The speeders are students as well as parents. Compounding the problem is parents dropping children at the daycare on the corner and children and pets in the street.

How about a four way stop to slow everyone down and ensure safety at the corner. It is a school zone after all.
