Support needed to keep live events at theatre

My wife and I attended The Doghouse Boyz performance last Friday night at The Ritz Theater. It was an incredible show.

Two very talented performers kept us totally entertained for over two hours. The venue was impressive-our local theater has been lovingly restored with comfortable seating, ample leg room, and a new stage setup that worked beautifully.

The performance was an eclectic mix of jazz and blues with incredible guitar and bass talent clearly evident. The new stage system allowed us to watch the performance with a wonderful close up personal feeling and the audio was set at very comfortable listening levels.

All in all, it was a great Friday night performance.

One of the many things I love about our community is we retain the small town feeling and support the things that make us who we really are. The theater is a perfect example of the community coming together to keep our history alive and well. The only sad note about the Friday night show is that, if I counted right, there were less than twenty paying customers.

Support for the refurbishment of the theater and purchase of needed equipment was exceptional. Please join me to continue that support with our smiling faces at the box office.
