Age should not be a factor in election

After reading Mr. Flyckt’s Letter to the Editor in the September 25, 2014, Ritzville JT regarding the Adams County District Court Judge coming election, I realized two things.

One: The mudslinging/negative carping that has gone on appears to have originated from the Prosecutor’s office, present and past employees included.

Two: If you are 65 years of age, you need to be “put out to pasture.”

I resent Mr. Flyckt’s opinion and question his ability to be a viable elected official.

I am supporting Judge Adalia Hille, and ask for your vote for her re-election, because of her 23 years of outstanding and dedicated service to Adams County. She is a highly-principled individual.

Remember to vote before Mr. Flyckt pontificates who is too old to vote.

Dave Powers, Ritzville
