Nuclear era is destroying the world we live in

In Genesis I: Verse 26, “God said, Let us make man in our image after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

Surely having dominion does not mean to contaminate and trash God’s creation. Dominion means we are to be stewards of all God’s creation, whether we believe God created it or not. The Nuclear Industry and our government have blatantly failed in this God given obligation and are contaminating and destroying His creation. We are paying the ultimate price with many henceforth, unknown, radiogenic illnesses, catastrophes and highly radioactive waste.

The nuclear era is destroying our beautiful world, our loved ones and our peace of mind. I have lost 58 family members to cancer so far, all downwind of Hanford. Just what right did they have to use us as guinea pigs?

Yet the nuclear advocates continue to push for more nuclear reactors. They are NOT clean, safe or cheap. Radiation leaking from the nuclear reactors, released in many nuclear tests, have caused these many different cancers, radiogenic diseases and death. I also feel the nuclear ear is largely to blame for the dire financial straits we are in with their “cost over runs” and lack of accomplishment. Just what have we gained? A tremendous amount of dangerous radioactive waste that after 70 years they still don’t really know what to do with.
