Costs to citizens unwarranted

The county commissioners are allowed by law to enjoy an automatic revenue increase from each property owner. It does not matter whether the value of a citizen’s home is up, down or sideways. Nor does it matter when the citizenry are enjoying greater, lesser or stagnant incomes. Each new year entitles the county an additional sum of our incomes. This is not a relationship between a citizen and public servants, but Lord government and serf.
