Is a cracker celebration in order?

I love reading the past and present events of my old hometown. I’m looking forward to coming home in the near future. I noticed in one of the history of Ritzville, that the Ritz Cracker had been purchasing the wheat for their product. I was curious if the cracker was named after the city of Ritzville. If it was then why not have a celebration of such a history?
