  • Lady Broncos prepare for a chance at the state tournament

    After taking the third seed into the Sub-Regional Tournament the Lady Broncos lost their first game to the number one seed, the Colfax Lady Bulldogs. This put them into a loser-out game against their league rivals and the number four seed from the District Tournament, the Reardan Lady Indians.   • Ritzville Ministerial Association elects new officers

    The Ritzville Ministerial Association (RMA) has elected it 2015 officers. Serving as association president is Pastor Bill Cox of the Ritzville Foursquare Church. Charles Jingling, local representative for the Benge Community Church, was elected as vice-president; Pastor Matthew Yoder of the Menno Mennonite Church, serves as the secretary and Pastor John Hunsberger of the Trinity United Methodist Church, serves as the treasurer.   • Little League registration closes Feb. 27

    Registration for Lind and Ritzville Little League and softball teams closes on Feb. 27. All paperwork and fees for the Little League season can be turned in with the grade schools in both communities. The registration fee is $25 per player. All of the registration paperwork for students was sent home on Feb. 9. The age requirements are between five and six years old for Tee Ball, seven to 12-year olds for Minor League and Girl’s Softball, and 10-12-year olds can register for Major League.
