    An informational meeting regarding this years Distinguished Young Women (DYW), of Lind and Ritzville scholarship programs, is to be held on Monday, Jan. 26, at 6:30 p.m., at the Lind-Ritzville High School library. DYW is the largest and oldest national scholarship program for high school girls. It inspires them to develop their full, individual potential through a fun, transformative experience that culminates in a celebratory showcase of their accomplishments.   • Lady Broncos defeat Wilbur-Creston, fall to Reardan

    With only two games last week the Lady Broncos now have a record of 7-3 and are in fourth place in the league. They started the week on Tuesday facing the Wilbur-Creston Lady Wildcats at home.   • WLCF Jr. Livestock Sale awarded grant

    Northwest Farm Credit Services is proud to award the Wheat Land Communities’ Fair Jr. Livestock Sale in a $1,000 Northwest FCS/CoBank Rural Community Grant Award. The grant will be used for construction of an 8,000 square foot facility, complete with 80 head capacity beef tie-ups and a covered show/sale ring.
